Welcome Welcome One and All

Hello! My name is Katie and I am excited to have you all here! I decided to try my hand at blogging because I realized I have way too many opinions and thoughts to keep to myself. Not really sure what to expect from this whole journey but figured it would be an adventure none the less!

While here you can expect to find reviews of young adult fantasies, steamy romances, thrillers and mystery books. I love all the different worlds that these books have allowed me to explore and escape into! The inspiration for my blog name came from the saying “its in the bag!” Instead of insisting that life is easy and everything is in the bag I picked “its in the book,” because more often then not you can find answers to lifes questions in a book! Many times I have turned to books as a source of comfort or to find answers I didn’t know I needed.

I am the mother to a four year old cat named Willow Athena. She can often be found trying to close and sit on any book I have. When I am not reading I can be found crafting or finding various fall things to participate in. As for my full time job I am an infant teacher meaning I watch children 6 weeks to 2 years old. So while most of my posts will be about adult and young adult books, the occasional children’s book may find their way in!

My all time favorite book would have to be “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald!

What is your favorite book?

Until next time!

Katie 🙂

Hello! I’m Katie, I started this blog to share my love of YA Fantasy books and adult thrillers/mysteries! When I’m not reading you can find me working on my crafts, hanging with my kitten or buying something Harry Potter!

  1. Welcome to blog life! ☺️ Pick a favourite book…just one?? 😂 I have far too many favourites to pick one but a few of mine are: anything by Carlos Ruiz Zafon (literally anything!); Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab.
    Have a good week! ☺️
